About trading characters

I got a real good offer on a character. He told me to "gift" him coins, and he would trade the character over to my account. But I´m afraid it´s just another scammer, what securities do I have? If I got "proof"? Is the market the only viable place to trade characters?

Trading outside of our marketplace is against our rules and the people advertising it are more than likely running a scam. You should report the player, more info on that here.
