The ganking by UD players is beyond endemic. I got ganked on my 35 Pally five times by five different UD in less than an hour. Is there any chance of an Alliance effort to do anything about it (I tried asking for help in Global and was ignored)?

Hey, can provide some form of clarity on this.
If you're being ganked as alliance, you will not win. It doesn't matter who comes to help you, you will always lose. Eventually, the 6:1 Horde:Alliance population ratio takes effect... So if you get 2 alliance to come and help you, the hordes eventually get 8. And you lose harder than the 1 on 1's...
Warmane World PvP is effectively this.
Player 1 attacks player 2.
Player 1 dies.
Player 1 logs his 10 shaman multibox.
Player 2 then can't do anything.
Player 1 "wins".
99% of the time, player 1 in this scenario is the horde player.
You can't win in world PvP as alliance, is the basic moral of the story.
