Hello, I was told I should post this here rather than in support section.

I was wondering if you plan updating your armory API so that it includes more information about characters. I would like to develop a discord bot for our guild that uses information from your API, but it includes almost no information about player's equipment. Will you add information like item level / item quality or any other information in the future? Thanks.

i deffiantly support this and hope that we successfully can get some API updates so that inviduals can develop such as bots for warmane as it would surely benefit the server and its invidual population around

No response? At least let me (us) know whether you are planning something or not. It would be nice if you could at least include the gems, enchants and transmogs in the player equip list. Right now it's impossible to get that information by any automatic system.

Edit: Well, if you're gonna use cloudflare protection even on API, it does not even matter...

Could you at least make the API accessible before you disallow page scraping APIs?
I remember seeing a post once about it being in the next armory update, that must surely have been some time ago since that update.

I searched the forum looking for anything related to API updates etc. and I found this thread http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=361278 with user "Agramon" stating that "API documentation is expected to be released in upcoming few weeks." on July 17, 2017 (I have no idea about his role in server/api development). I also found several topics (listed below) asking about API updates, if they are even planned or if there is some documentation, but they were always ignored by warmane staff, so it looks like we will be disappointed again.

This is pretty much all information I was able to find on forums about API. Seems like they are just ignoring it and focusing on other things (it would be nice if they could tell us that from the start).

The developer has just been too busy to write it. We will probably assign someone else to do it in close future. No ETA as it is not a top priority.
