    The MMR system

    Can someone elaborate on how the MMR system currently operates.
    I was skimming through the recent reward thread but I didn't quite get what the final say was.
    The dream is obviously that MMR = PR and I believe it was mentioned at some point by Proterean but would like a definite answer.
