WotLK can't start wotlk client

Am on Mac OS Sierra. Whenever I try to start the WotLK client it just says that the "app cannot be opened" with no further error message or anything of that sort

thx. funny, i checked the package contents and saw that it was a text file but had no idea what to do about it. guess it was just a search away as usual.
