Grinding for Netherwing Drake

It's been many years since I quit retail but I am loving coming back to this vanilla wow server. Just a quick question. In Shadowmoon Valley, does the chain quest for the epic purple netherdrake mounts still work? I just want to make sure its still active on this server before I invest and start the long rep grind to earn that drake flying mount.

Yes it does. Once you get to the point of the chain where you can farm the eggs, you can go from neutral to exalted in about 7-8 hours of camping the eggs. You need about 170 iirc and there's 11-12 spawn points, each with a ~23 minute respawn timer.
