Too Late?

Hello all, Miser here,

My friends and I have started this server within the last week. We were all wondering since there wont be anymore patches on here, is it okay to start now? Or do you think the life of the realm won't be too much longer and we should wait? Just looking for opinions of players who have been here a lot longer than me.
