Technical "Could not change race for character" after purchasing faction change with vote

I cant change my human warlock to any horde race after purchasing a faction change. I get the error "could not change race for character" no matter if I choose orc, undead or blood elf. I tried logging in and out, closing client, even attempted to delete a low level character to see if having an account full of characters was the issue but even that is bugged out and stays at the message "deleting character" forever. I already made a ticket but just wondering if anyone has a solution since I'm impatient as heck.

If you're using the new client (with WoD models) there are some hairstyles/beards/etc you can't use (last two fields when you customise your new character). Try to pick different ones.
