Where's everyone?

Came back from a long absence and I thought it would be cool to jump on this TBC server. At the moment there are 3565 active players (according to the website) but for example, there are maybe 10 or 15 people total in SW and 1 or 2 in my starting zone (night elf) which is pretty weird. Wondering if the server is still alive. Where's everyone?

You were logged in 4hours ago? Then you hit a time where in Europe it was 04:41am so no wonder that nobody was arround.
It is actually a nice amount of players for that deep midnight time.
You might try to connect on the TBC servers arround 06:00PM GMT time.....

Why would there be anyone in a starting zone of a 5x server? They kill two mobs and are done there.
