Got IP banned for 'advertising'. What exactly did I advertise sorry?! No email explaining, no nothing. What is that?

please, the same thing just happened to me. i got banned for advertising yesterday (i did not log with my account yesterday) and now it says my ip got banned. what can i do? i have a lot of hard worked characters in that account... help pls
