Technical Play outland on wotlk client?

I think I made a mistake, I was attracted to the 12000 playerss so I downloaded wotlk client and too late did I realize the 12000 is already the limit,it's been a day already and download is only at 80%, Im worried I might not even able to log in at that realm once download is complete.. so, can I login into outland instead using the wotlk client? It would be painful for me to download another 7gb tbc client as our isp has limited montly bandwidth. If I cant avoid having to download tbc client, is there like a way to minimize the size of the download, like, i only have download specific parts of the client and not all.
