Run a simple 2 or 3s tournament, doesn't have to be for money, just for the competition. However I know me and some other friends would happily donate to create a small prize pool of a few hundred euros.

What is the objection to this? Why don't the GMs care? And if you don't care, just shut the realm down?

This is one of the basic principles of a PVP realm and would require low to minimal effort to set up. So what is the objection? If you don't care close the realm.
