1. Making chat throttle's muting system less aggressive in raids/dungeons.

Right now, the chat throttle often affects pugs that run through dungeons or raids, as well as pvpers in battlegrounds, where /say chat is often the primary means of communication during a fight, because any text relayed there is communicated very quickly and impossible to miss.

People that have macros or addons that call out in /say chat or /yell chat when a certain ability is used are also often affected. Would be helpful if the restriction on /say and /yell chat were lifted in instanced content because of the detrimental effect this has on gameplay.

The same should be extended to custom chat channels that might be used by groups of friends to communicate, for instance.

  2. This would work only if /say and /yell is removed from chat throttle in Raids, in Bg's people will spam so no.

  3. Well I mean gold sellers and advertisers and such aren't typically known to enter a BG and advertise to those few people in there. And you can already indefinitely spam in /bg chat anyway (which every player on your team can already read), so nothing changes on that count.
