WotLK Capture Rabid Thistle Bear

No matter how much I try I just cannot do this quest. The bears walk over the trap and nothing happens, I've tried 3 times so far and it's been a failure. Am I doing something wrong?

Some quests are bugged; try to log-in your acc and then go to "Forum" and "Bugtracker" after. there are several reports about your problem.

It's reported, but not fixed. Abandon the quest and do others.

Btw, Frostwolf and Neltharion were quite buggy. You learn(ed) quickly to skip such quests there.
