Need help with addons, PLEASE

I am trying everything I can to get addons to work. But I just cant seem to get it. I have watched youtube and read the instructions on the forums but nothings working. please help

Can you tell me which addons are you trying to download? Because i tried to download many addons but many of then doesnt work (Out of date).

Do you have problems with installing addons?

I try to explain it by tbc addons:

1. Download the addon (it must be 2.4.3, for WotlK 3.3.5 etc.)
2. Download/install WinRAR/7zip on your pc
3. Open the downloaded addon folders by clicking on them. They often end by .zip

WinRAR/7zip opens the program

4. Create a new folder (an empty one in Interface-->Addons-folder)
5. Go to WinRAR/7zip and extract the folders to the new created folder in your Addon-folder
6. Start the game, activate the addons listed on the left side after you logged in, if needed
