Oh Novos achievement

According to the new changelog this acheivement is fixed. I tried on 3 of my toons didnt get the acheivement at all.
Anyone else have this problem?

A very long time ago it worked properly; within 2 months ago I helped a friend and we got it by bursting the boss before it was able to summon more adds, those adds are the same as some coming down the stairs so they also count when they touch the floor. A strategy for low dps is to immediately take the boss up the stairs in the start of phase 2. Also position a DPS near the door to kill the crystal handlers because they might also count (I dont know if they should or not).

An illegitimate way to do it is very recently I heard that charging the boss and then not moving (as a warrior or else) will allow you to attack the it during phase 1 and killing the boss during that phase supposedly grants the achievement regardless of what else happens. I haven't seen this confirmed and it would be considered an exploit which may be bannable.
