How do you play Battlegrounds?

I'd suggest buying level 79 saronite set (it has diff names depending on your class/spec) and it's not too expensive so you should be able to buy it. Saronite set gives some decent stats so it'll be way better than leveling gear. While it still won't help much vs bis people it'll stop them from oneshotting you, which means if you're a healer you'll be able to cast off a few heals or if you're damage dealer you'd be able to do some more damage or use cc's to help your teammates!
