is there ever going to be a reset on lordaeron? everyone is packed and bored. new journey would be great.

If you're bored that all your characters are geared up, you can always make alts. And more alts.

I really don't get the point of these type of threads.. "Reset server..." What would that even accomplish? The only impact it would have would be on PvP where gear is beyond easily accessible. As for PvE, if you have a large enough group of people wanting a reset, just make a new character and go through the journey as you would if the server was 0 days old. Grind out the gear and progress through the raids, etc.
A reset, as you suggest, would give you (the few that want it) a new adventure while rendering 80% of the community's efforts to obtain gear thus far.

If reset is a stupid idea, then why do Vanilla servers reset every year, once they progressed to Naxx?
And upon every fresh launch there is 15k population.

1. Do they donate for gear there and lose it with every reset? Losing gear obtained with coins without a refund won't go well. And refunding all the coins with every reset will cause a few months with almost no donations. And people who obtained their gear in game still wouldn't like it.
2. There are no achievements on vanilla and you have to keep all your mounts in bags. Things like that seem to reduce the amount of things you can do. That might apply to TBC too but I don't see resets happening there either because of donated gear.
3. I really don't know why players on those servers would want to lose their characters every year. A progression realm that resets every year and allows players to move their characters to either a regular realm or a progression realm for next expansion would be much better idea. That way there would be a fresh realm every year and nobody would be forced to lose their characters.

yeah but we talking about lordaeron where u can't obtain gear though donation and shops so money wise u got nothing to lose.

Just this.
if you want a fresh start. make an alt.
if you think that you would be able to cheat by sending gold over from another character. just delete your mains. copy paste friendslist over to a new character. tell your guild to invite your new toon. and done.
if you still feel like thats not enough. just make a whole new account to level on.

Lordaeron has character trade, item trade, expensive mounts, pets and other items in store. You can't buy gear separately but you can buy fully geared characters.

If you want a "new journey" just find other like-minded people and start new characters to do it wtih, reset your own experience instead of expecting everyone to be forced to start from scratch.
