i have never played MOP so this is a whole new learning for me. i have a pally that i am doing JC on and when i learned it i did not get prospecting. now since i never played this expansion did they take it out or is it bugged. i learned it from exordor should i just unlearn it and get somewhere because of a bug or did they take that part of the profession out.

I believe Prospecting ability doesn't come as soon as you learn the jewelcrafting profession, it has a minimum skill level required before you will automatically learn it.
