How to start up in Windowed Mode?
I'm switching from Frostwolf to Icecrown and am having trouble starting up the game. Frostwolf always played fine and I later reset the settings to windowed mode while in-game, but cannot see the game now. The WotlK file opens up but my screen goes black for a second and then nothing is shown. The game is open, I can see it on my task bar, but nothing is showing on my screen.
I was thinking changing something in the file so that it would start off windowed originally would fix the problem
Thanks

Hello,
"Go in to your World of Warcraft directory and enter the WTF folder. Open the config.wtf file with Notepad and look for the line:
SET gxWindow "0"
Change the 0 to a 1 so it looks like this:
SET gxWindow "1"
Then save the file and start up the game. It should now be in Windowed mode."
Hope that works for you!
