Account Banned

I was playing a bg and went afk for a family related issue. When I came back I found out my account has been banned for ´´avoiding anti-afk in battlegrounds´´. I understand how annoying is to play a bg with afk teammates more than anyone but I don´t understand where the ban is coming from since It was a 1 time thing.

Please don´t understand this as a cry out loud I just want more information.

You can always go afk, but you avoided the anti-kick mechanism. When you simply leave the pc for a family issue, you are getting kicked after 5mins. You can avoid this kick by moving a bit so that you stay in bg for 10mins or more. The best solution is that you leave bgs before you are afk somewhere.

I sometimes have phone calls and leave bgs because I can't fight in zerg and organize stuff in rl at the same time. I only stay in bg while phoning when enemies are getting farmed on their gy and it's nothing to do.

Btw I counted at least 4 bgs when you were afk...
