Technical Chat Log Doesn't Work?

Hello, for some reason whenever I try and type something, if I /say it I can at least see the bubble but if its a whisper I am unable to read it because player chat does not show up in the box in the bottom left corner, can anyone help?

Try to reset your box. Right-click on "General", Reset Chat Windows there

It's also possible that an addon blocks your whisper (carbonite or similar), but try the step above first and tell us if it worked.
