Technical [Wotlk] GTX 1050 2GB laptop bad performance

Why in dalaran when people are at peak i get very low frame rates below 15?
Resolution 1080p everything maxed out.
CPU i5-7300
GPU GTX 1050 2GB
RAM 8GB
Any ideas on how to improve performance?

I have ryzen 2600 and R9 390x and i still get 20 FPS when there is alot of people in dalaran, 150FPS when there is not ..

WoW is just a game with old engine..

Put WoW onto a SSD instead of a HDD. then things are totally fine.

im running with 7700k and gtx 1060 6gb and 16 ram and im getting fps drops like ****, its from the client and server, buggy AF

The client is old and comes with its limits.
Lowering graphics is one thing that should help. Shadows and water to low quality, you're not going to be watching them either way.

I have 150-200 FPS most of the time .. The only time it drops below 60FPS is when there is alot of people at one place .. Like Dalaran or SW ..
