1. Devlog

This is the second month in a running that Frostwolf has had no update on the devlog. This is exactly the treatment Neltharion got, just before it closed down. Is staff planning to provide an update to the MoP players (specially the new ones from Neltharion) on what the next steps for that realm will be?

Frostwolf desperately needs more dev attention, particularly since its existence out dates Outland, and yet Outland has been given far more importance.

  2. Devlog is usually reserved for updates on major projects, shifts in development direction, and things such as that. Right now, the team is focusing on a rather large project in cross-realm features, of which do not apply to Frostwolf or Outland because they are the only realms for those expansions. Even so, it's more of a "blog" than anything. What you really ought to keep an eye on is the changelog.

Pertaining the fate of Cataclysm, it's not relateable to MoP in terms of the devlog, since Cataclysm was already resigned to "no developer attention" and we announced such. That's not necessarily true for MoP.

Moreover, I'd like to say that comment such as "X happened to Y, so it's going to happen to Z" is not going to help perspectives on the situation. It's better to come out and straightforwardly state what you want.

On the topic of Outland being given more importance than Frostwolf, well, of course, the population is bigger (and thus problems pertain to a large portion of our playerbase) and it is significantly easier to work on fixes for TBC than it is for MoP.

Sure but having just one developer (as far as I can tell) certainly feels like we're on the back burner, for the past 3 years now...

More developers to work on MoP

The population is really only bigger because...

    a) its a new realm. New realms have more population (and even then, Outland did not peak like MoP peaked on early Warmane)
    b) it has far better working content, while MoP has been forgotten.

If it is easier to work on fixes on TBC, doesn't it make more sense to have LESS developers on it, and MORE on MoP?
