Seems you got tabards mixed. Tabard of Conquest is an achievement reward: https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=...le-of-conquest
Where as paladin only quest tabard is Blood Knigth Tabard: https://www.wowhead.com/item=25549/b...#reward-from-q
The BKT has no class restriction in this patch, so you can wear it as any class.
