WotLK Items got deleted for no reason after switching armors

Hello, been a player since 2012 and never had this problem before.
2 of my items were deleted for no reason in my back pack after I switched my armor from Pve to Pvp.
I thought that if the bag is full and you switch armors, the extra weapons or armors would be automatically delivered to your mailbox but mine was not and 2 of my items were deleted.

You can get items back if you donated for them by making a ticket otherwise i don't think its possible
