Addons stop working in BG's

Hi!
I have encountered an issue with my addons like skada and sound alerter, since cross-realm bg's became a thing. After about 2 minutes both of them stop working and I get an unsuspecting spell reflect to my face without even knowing it, but when I instantly leave and attack a dummy my skada starts to work again. Reloading resolves the issue but only for a couple of minutes then both addons stop working again.
If anyone can help I'd be glad since this is really interfering with my gameplay.
Edit: I have tested it on a bg in icecrown and everything worked perfectly fine.
