WotLK dk, duels and trinkets

so we know that the standard for dk is to have double dc/dv trinkets, but in duels against war, other dks, palas, we are constantly hitting with melee white hits and melee abilities so the question is, wouldnt it be better if we use dbw heroic+Sharpened Twilight Scale normal?
(both situations with sm as weapon)

you wont be able to get enough arp to make it worthwhile imo, i think your only arpen will come from that, smourne and penumbra pendant, but arpen doesnt become good til at least 40%+ ideally 50%+
i would rather have DV norm for more damage across the board at all time, stronger strikes, coils, dot ticks, garoyle, etc. Though STS will be slightly more burst during the proc.
