WotLK Wotlk Warmane Client & 4GB patch

Does the Warmane Wotlk client with new models include the 4GB patch or "WoW Large Address Aware Patch"?

A friend downloaded the old client and we copied the .MPQ files of the new client (and the ones that go in enUS folder), but now it seems like the game can crash at some points or load way slower than mine.

And there is no way it can be hardware limitations, he has 8GB of ram, and a better graphics card than me. (He has a GTX 1050Ti).

So the only thing i can think of is that the old client didn`t include something else besides the new .MPQ files.
