It's not that the horde is bad. It's just that most people who play the game for pvp pick a human for the racial. Anyone who is serious about donating to get BiS gear will want to max their dps in PvP by choosing a human. The result is, a bunch of humans with Shadowmorne and BiS trinkets vs just normal horde players. It's no ones fault, it's just the way the game was made, Every Man For Himself racial has always been a thorn in the horde's side even on retail. You won't find many people on horde these days who care about pvp, most are just raiders.

Most competitive players and top arena teams have always been alliance that is true. However this is small portion of our playerbase. Overall we have pretty good balance for past 9 years. This PVP apocalypse happen for first time in 9 years when they added Cross-realm and GS brackets. You make your own conclusions.
