i remember reading that if you send the ghoul to attack someone no matter how far away, you are put into combat status right away, is this blizzlike? because where i play right now it doesnt happen and it would be very useful vs rogue comps in arena

You'll enter combat when ghoul enters combat, if ghoul dies you'll remain in combat til mob resets or dies.
