Are there any specific tactics on Lich king with hunter. Like macros what to do and so on?

The player who made that guide is Darkenedhue, and he really done great job there. Beside the LK, you can find tactics for the full ICC encounter, and maybe even some nice tips and tricks, which most of the hunters usually forget/not pay attention to, while playing this beautiful class, and result in the dps loss for them. So I would suggest reading the whole guide, specially if you are new/less experienced with the class. ;)

Just dispell enrage for shamblings:
/cast [@mouseover] Tranquilizing Shot

Make sure you kill frost orbs in phases 1,5 and 2,5, you can even dps LK safely with ranged spec. (talents in surv tree)

and you can use slowing traps for spirits in ph3


Everything else is the same as for any other dps + use missdirection on cd as in any other fight.

Tell your Shamans to put totems under LK and tell the other monkey pet classes to micro their pets. You shouldn't have to waste DPS on orbs.

Thats true in well coordinated raid without any/much mishaps.


Its way more important that orbs die, than putting those few extra hits on LK. If you can 100% rely on others, than yes, its better, but alwasys be ready to step in for anyone you can.

Same with missdirect best is to use it on start and then according to omen.

Second best and always reliable thing to do is use on cd. Worst case scenario is wasting a few steady shots. Worst case scenario not using MD without being sure its not needed is death of 1 dps.
