WotLK Is It Still Worth Buying Gold Via The Trading System Before Gold Squish?

So I was thinking of buying a decent amount of gold to give myself a solid boost and also enable myself to shorter queue times. Will it at all matter whether I buy it now or after the squish? Since everything will be halved anyway?

people buying gold same as is it not gona be squish. 40 000 gold is now wrotless because everything is soo expensive on AH gems 400 gold flask 200 g.... but y after squish you will get 20 000 but gems will be 200 gold and flask will be 100 gold its same... only diference when inflation is active ingame its very easy to obtain expensive items from vendor like cold 280 % flying or 16k dalaran mount...
