1. Enha PVE talent build

So, the basics are you put as many talent points in dps talents as mana permits you. I've started fooling around a bit and figured you can put max out on pretty much every dps talent while having 1 talent left to put towards mana saving.

My question is.. which of these has highest mana return...

i've seen ppl put a point in shamanistic focus and improved SS but never in elemental focus... Has any1 done any testing with latter talent and is it worth taking?

  2. You're probably taking pvp/irrelevant talents, 5/5 ancestral knowledge for example, also reverberation isn't that good, -1 sec cooldown won't optimize your damage from your already unoptimized quasi-rotation/****ty priority list neither to flame shock nor earth shock, also you're not spamming wind shear at a caster on a BG, you will be using it as aggro increases when the tank can't hold the aggro so you won't wipe that bad at the 2nd boss' adds.
But, to be honest I've never struggle with my mana. Your big mana dumps are fire totem + nova, and unless you're taking nova glyph+tlents, you won't be spamming that spell.

Also as far as I understand pve =/= leveling/world
so in such case, the build you're looking for is something between pve and pvp

  3. Do we have an official information about enh bugs or everything should working well ?

  4. I would personally go for this spec:
    https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVh...huoRuVo:hRfzMm
    For any sort of PvE.

You are essencialy a buff class. You bring **** ton of buffs and that should be your main focus. Your dps might not be top 5, but you buff others a lot, so first thing you should focus on is placing the totems correctly and not alowing yourself to get killed easy. Second thing should be to make sure you keep auto attacking your target and doing Stormstrike and Lavalash off cd, for those extra WF and MW procs. Almost all of your dmg will come from melee which is why this should be (2nd) top prio. Third should be to keep shock off cd and to do those LB when u get them to be instant (5/5 MW). In time, you will learn those small tricks that will let you reach higher dps numbers and maybe drop Imp Stormstrike for Static Shock (with better gear all you need is Shamanistic Rage off CD to never oom).
From what i know Static Shock and Imp Shields are not worth 6 talent points. Fire Nova might not shine on single target fights, but it sure will on aoe.

P.S. Enha shaman is also a great support dps. DO NOT be that player that will rather cast a instant LB over healing a raid member and letting them die.
VuhDoo is a great addon that can let you see raid/grp frames better and by clicking on a player in need cast a Healing Wave/Chain Heal saving their life.

  5. I would personally go for this spec:
    https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVh...huoRuVo:hRfzMm
    For any sort of PvE.
Static shock yields always more DPS than putting these 3 points in reverbation and ancestral knowledge.

If you are low geared and you have serious mana issues then I'd rather use this talent build:
    https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVhhqoZhbxsoxdIhusRuVo
With Shamanistic focus, imp SS and Elemental focus you will never run oom.

Once you are a bit better geared drop Elemental focus and put it in imp fire nova.
Once you have no more mana issues replace Shamanistic focus and imp SS with talents that increase your DPS.

  6. If this is true, i would go for something like this:
    https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVh...husRuVo:hRfzMm

I doubt those focus talents will help with mana, nor do i think any help is needed with Imp Stormstrike and Shaman Rage.

Altho, if i wer you, i would search these forums for Jakkre posts. He was the guy u look for when going for enha shaman.

  7. imp stormstrike only works on base mana, so its giving you like 900 ish mana, you can drop it once you reach a decent amount of int.
Elemental focus is actually decent mana talent but usually you r good enough with imp ss+shamanistic focus, and you eventually drop imp ss anyway since you r using sham rage off cd
Also you should def go 3/3 imp shields
For a max dps build you should go smth like this (assuming you have imp icy talons and enhancing totems in your raid) https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVhGVbZ0xxIoxzIhusouVo
if you need enhancing totems take points off anc knowledge
if you need imp wind take from reverb(if you have enhanc tots alrdy) or anc knowledge

  8. Reverberation is 99% useless, the dps boost is so marginal that it should be disregarded in any spec, and you should take utility/survivability talent over this (yes I know the first poster asked for maxiumum dps output..)

Classic "good gear" enhance spec when you can 0->100% mana with shaman rage :
    https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVhhVbZhbxIoxdIhusouVo

Same spec but for 25h with guilds (assuming you have icy talons so you drop 2pts in impr haste totems):
    https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVuhqbZhbxIoxzIhusouVo

25h progress spec if you need extra survivability/mana management (mostly LK 0% or Sindra 0%):
    https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVIhqZhbxIoxzIhusouVo
it makes you a little more resistant (still not as good as plate) and allows you to throw a bit more aoe dmg/heal without mana issues

for low gear specs just drop any point in improved haste totems, improved fire nova or elemental focus and put it in improved stormstrike, which is better at lower gear than elemental focus

  9. Classic "good gear" enhance spec when you can 0->100% mana with shaman rage :
    https://wotlk.evowow.com/?talent#hVhhVbZhbxIoxdIhusouVo
You don't need shamanistic focus with good gear.
You are better off putting this point in Reverbation.
The DPS increase in absolute minor but that's what fine-tuning is about.

  10. Yeah I put the point there in order to reach 45 points to unlock maelstrom in the spec without imp haste totem, and I forgot you don't actually need it if you spend 2 extra points in totems.
Still, I'd rather get 2% reduced damage taken than reverberation, reverberation's effect is purely a sim upgrade but doesn't matter in actual fights
