1. Detailed tanking guides

Are there any DETAILED tank guides about ICC HC? Specifically the abom for PP HC and LK HC cooldown rotations, but also with other information and tips.

I have been trying to find such guides, most of them are just general stuff.

  2. Use voice chat to let other tank and healers know which reapers will be taken by which tank and such and just use one good one or two weaker cd's. Also ask for Pain suppression, hand of sacrifice in moments like 2 shamblings alive and one is low.

Your job as abomination is to slow all oozes, keep control of the puddles and push the dps (ooze>boss).
Once you get into the abomination ask for buffs on it (small bok, small bom, rejuvention from resto druid should be constantly on you for faster energy). Most raids with the 30% ICC buff push the first ooze and go directly into the transition. This means you will need to get 90% energy out of the first 2 pools to slow both oozes. Dont instantly drink the first pools, you will need to soak a lot of energy out of it in order to slow both oozes in the transition. Drink one completely, the other one should be kept small while the transition so you can continue drinking from it immediately after. In the second phase you shouldnt have any energy problems at all and slow all oozes. When new pools spawn drink one completely, keep second small till next spawn. Focus down the oozes when they spawn and push the boss while drinking. Sometimes you will see yourself being energy capped in the middle of phase 2, in that case you can use your slow ability on the boss to push more damage. If you dont have enough energy to slow an ooze, inform your raid about it so they can react with stacking for greens and hand of protection for orange oozes. Always keep an eye on next pool and experiment timer. Before you push the second transition try to fully drink all pools to give more room to move in the last phase. Once transition starts again try to push as much dmg as possible on the green ooze.
Especially in 25HC you should assist the raid with your dps. This part depends a lot on the performance of your main tank. Tell him to move the boss constantly with the pools so you can dps the boss while you drink the pools. If your maintank is a DK, tell him to safe his hysteria for you and give it you in the transition when you focus down the green ooze. Priority for you in the transition is green>orange>boss.
If everything goes well you face the second transition without any pool and top the recount.

About LOD you might want to tell which tanking class you play especially for the def cd rotation.

  4. For PP HC,you probably don't want to slow the green oozes.Your priority is getting up the slime pools as much as you can(but not at the cost of ooze damage) and slowing the red on transition/unstable experiment, because the green won't wipe the raid if you have decent dps.Second priority is dpsing the oozes as abom.As MT,your job is to move PP next to the pools so the abomination can drink and dps PP at the same time, and start moving right before he casts choking gas bomb.
For LK hc as mt(preferably dk) you can take 3 soul reapers with your cooldowns, but you will need handsac/pain supression on every 4th(or have the ot taunt him off). For bear you will need handsacs on every second at least iirc. For phase 3 you will want handsacs to ease the soaking of vile spirits as mt.I won't go into details about positioning because at this point it should be clear how to position him during the main phases.

If you are a DK there are videos in the: "Tanking videos:" part of the guide.
If you are not a DK you can still use these videos since the movement and positioning (and maybe some other things) are exactly the same for all the tanks.
You could also link some of defensive cooldowns to other classes and for example:
When DK uses Icebound Fortitude, use Divine Protection, Shield Wall, Barkskin,
When DK uses Blood Tap (T10 bonus) use the same if you have it, or glyphed Salvation on yourself if you are a Paladin,
When DK uses Vampiric Blood use Last Stand, Survival Instinct,
When DK uses a Trinket CD, use it aswell if you have it, etc...

Also, would advise all tanks that have no clue what to do on PP as Abomination to look up the same video in the guide.
