question about entering HC's and attunement

Hello,
In order to enter HC's, do I need the keys (assuming yes) or can I get in if a party member has the key?
Is this the same for raids such as KZ?

You need to reach Honored rep on your own to obtain each of the keys.

The Kara/SSC/TK/Hyjal/BT Attunements were lifted, so you're good to go there.
