After the server restart, I keep getting stuck in the login screen on the "Connecting" box, which then changes to "Unable to connect." My realmlist is good, authentication is good. Anyone's got a fix for this?

Try one of the two methods:
1. Start game, enter your account name and type in some WRONG password. You'll get that "Wrong acc name or pass" message and after that just type / paste in your correct password.
2. Alt tab out of your game, go to the website and log in and out your account, then try to log back ingame.
Hey, I got the same issue and its because the DNS.
This solved my problem: (just a simple IP and DNS reset)
Windows® 10 and Windows® 8:
While on the desktop, press Windows Key and type CMD.
Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
Type ipconfig /release in the command prompt.
Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been released.
Type ipconfig /renew in the command prompt.
Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been re-established.
Type ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt.
Close the command prompt.
Close the WOW client if open and restart it.
Thank you man !!! I´ve tried to delete cache, delete config file, delete realmlist file, change warmane to IP in realmlist, use openDNS, googleDNS, changed network card (ethernet, wi-fi), restart everything...pc, modem, router and almost myself too :D but nothing worked...finally this helps !!!

presuming the issue is you click realm, then you are told you need to wait and you are 200 in line
there are queues on the popular realms, so if you need to wait in queue, that means you are not a donator (see https://www.warmane.com/account/donate )
your options are:
- stay free and be in queue when there is one
- pay 10 euros once, and skip queue forever
Make sure you are using your username to log in and not password.
Ensure that firewall and antivirus aren't blocking it.
