There is nothing wrong with the queue. Premium accounts can skip queue, which means that there can be over 12k players online. When that happens, queue is not moving til enough players log out. Everyone else who was stuck in queue before you stopped waiting and logged out so you are now first in a queue that is not moving.

Donating any amount makes your account premium and lets you permanently skip queue. For most donation methods minimum amount is 10 euros.
