Since most ppl roll warriors, dks and paladins for easy time, ARP will be way better than AP.
You can certainly go for AP vs clothes but thats about it. ARP everytime.
If you can get at least %70 passive armor penetrate w/o gems, then go gem +20 arp to all sockets to reach hardcap.
No worries clothies. Only mage is the big deal. Both Lock and Priest have Demmon Skin/Inner Fire.
