Technical Stuck On Connecting?

Hey, I made an account last night. Played a few hours, loved it. Tonight, I tried to log in... I put in my username (not email) and password, clicked "log in", but am stuck at "connecting" then it times out and I get the "unable to connect" message...Any ideas?

**Edit: I am playing on the WoTLK 3.3.5 client, if that makes a difference.
