Technical My game settings reset and the game crash if i try to resize it.

Hi. It's been a while since i last log on Warmane, wanted to come take a look at my characters, so i downloaded the Wotlk version of the game from your website. The thing is, even when i disable the read-only of my folders, it dosn't work so i get the cinematic again and again. Also, when i launch the game, it's set at a crappy resolution, 1024x720 or something like that. If i try to change it to my current setting, wich is 1920x1080, it dosn't work, the game crash and i can't even close it so i have to disconnect my computer so i can restart my session, it's very annoying and i can't play like that. I tried to look for a similar problem on the forums but i didn't find anything, can someone help me?

did you follow all of these steps ?

1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"
