WotLK Satchel of helpful things error

Hi, guys. Didn't know where else to get help on this. Been having a bug on x1 wotlk server where the satchels of helpful things are empty when I open them. Just thought I'd get help somehow and notify you guys of the bug, if not previously aware.

Also, could you tell me how I obtain the password for global chat on that server?

2. On wotlk realm you can just type:
/join global

There is no password

I think one of the loot tables of those satchels is empty. Those loot tables last for 10 levels or so. In other words you should start getting stuff again in a few levels.
