    sadly the bg grinding is VERY slow for tier 1,
    my advice is they need to make it about 50 bg matches for tier 1 -

    and have 'Ranked BG' to help surge; - partner finding further
    making arena teams easier to make.

    but hopefully this helps put things in perspective
    to newcomers to surge into it without losing focus.
