download mist of pandaria

i was on rath of the lich king and download mist but cant open it any sugestions? and do we kepp our toons or do we restart from scrach?

you will create a new lvl 1 character

Btw to open MoP client:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

Works fine for me, you do have Bittorrent or something similar installed? Also, do not use the minimal client
