WotLK Settings not saving

Hi. I'm new to the game (not just the server but the whole WoW universe) and I'm kind of having a problem with the settings whenever I open the game.

The problem is the settings never save when I exit the game. Everytime that I open WoW, it always goes to default settings and I have to do everything again.

If there's a solution to this, please help me. Any suggestions would be nice.

Short one: remove read only from wow folder. (Right click the folder, properties, uncheck read only)

Those doesn't seem to solve the problem. I've also removed the torrent and it still doesn't save the settings.

Follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only" (Picture)
