WotLK Sap macro

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out trying to fix this macro.
It's a spam sap macro for arena1-2-3

#showtooltip sap
/cleartarget
/cast [target=arena1] sap
/cast [target=arena2] sap
/cast [target=arena3] sap

I have the same macros for shadowstep, kick and blind. and those all work perfectly. But just this specific sap macro isn't working.

I've tested it with friends queing for a skirmish. them not doing anything so they are 100% not in combat. macro doesnt work.
I've tested it by switching [target=arena1] to just [@arena1] and that doesnt work either.
I've tested it with using capitalized T, A, and S for target, arena and sap, doesnt work either.
i've tested it by removing everything in the macro and just using /cast [target=arena1] sap or /cast [@arena1] sap, and that doesnt work either.

GM's told me just to just clear cache and WTF folder. which i've already tried. so im kinda running out of ideas here.

these are the step kick and blind macros im using
/cast [nomod: target=arena1] shadowstep, kick
/cast [mod: shift, target=arena2] shadowstep, kick
/cast [mod: ctrl, target=arena3] shadowstep, kick

/cast [nomod: target=arena1] blind
/cast [mod: shift, target=arena2] blind
/cast [mod: ctrl, target=arena3] blind

I've also tried putting a modifier in the sap macros to see if it works then just like the stepkick and blind, but nope. still doesnt work.

remove the /cleartarget line and u good.

u don't clear your target before u sap it. common sense.
