[ANSWERED]Account getting brute forced?

I havent played on warmane is about a year, yet last wednesday/thursday I got over 150 (not exaggerating) emails with authenticator codes. It does not appear that someone has gained access, however I have changed the password to this account.

Is this a common occurence? If not, how did I get randomly picked as a target for this without being online in a year as well as having a completely different log in account name than my ingame name?

Anything else I need to do to secure my account further other than change the password?

Make sure you do not have any keylogers, I would recommend a proper anti malware program, scan your pc and make sure everything is fine. Change password on your email, on your account etc and make sure you have all accounts connected to your phone number.
