Hello there , well I am going to buy a level 80 Priest and I wondered how playable they are here ( both PvE and PvP ) mainly going for healing spec - prefer Holy but just tell me how viable healing specs on priest are here , would also play shadow . One more thing , which faction has better PvE expirience , I am more kinda on the Horde side now .
p.s. please dont comment stuff like " play what you like " . I am asking for opinions here . Ty :D .

Almost every spec is desirable in icc besides enhancement shamans.
While true that disc is favoured over holy, holy holds way higher healing potential plus guardian spirit, I'd personally take a holy priest to every raid but they are very hard to find usually.
As for faction experience it comes down to individual guild experiences, Horde Typically has more pve focused guilds due to horde racials complimenting pve.

Priest is a awesome class and they perform good no matter what specc, there's also not many so you will have a easy time getting a spot in raids / dungeons.
This is comming from a Horde perspective.
