Well not played for around 8 years any way! . I was wondering which expansion to play on as a new player, happy with 1x and work my way up ? I am not really interested in getting to a high level as quick as i can I enjoy the journey. As long as there are enough other players to make it fun. Mainly a PVE player

Any thoughts, Lordaeron or Ice crown ? Which expansion do I download ?

Recommendation for expansion - Wrath of the lich king, the Icecrown realm is x7 XP rates and increased drops (I think), While Lordaeron is 1x XP. Popularity favors Icecrown with it almost always being full after around 1-3 PM until 11 PM - 12 AM, and it has queues that span from 1-2k (You can donate 10$ to skip queues, and you'll be able to get some bags, or a heirloom with the coins), so if you want to play there, you'd have to either start early in the queue or get into the server before it starts, otherwise you'll be sitting in it for like 10 years. Lordaeron doesn't have this problem, and is always open.
