Late Night DC's

I know the server is random dc'ing people during the day when standing around etc. but at around 22:45st (my guilds raid time) lots of my guildies including my self are getting fps drops to literally 1 fps and our MS spikes to 12000 to the point where we cannot play the game anymore and it is severely affecting our raiding experience. During the day I have had 0 issues with this but the last 3 days at night time my guild is struggling to finish raids because half of the raid is experiencing this server lag. Just wanted to know whether you guys are aware of this and whether there was anything we could do to help fix it?

Wow Dkbala, I understand your pain but the DC is happening to me in the Early Morning time so I don't think our disconnects are related. As someone who lags and DC's at times let me offer you some tips you can try:
1) Try turning off your router, wait 69 seconds, then turn it back on.
2) Try water-cooling your hardware such as PC components by pouring water on it.
3) Try to not lag/DC

i have tried everything that i know changing the realmlist from .com to .ru
using VPN
restarting router
disabling addons
and still lagging and my game freezes and ms jumps from 100 to 10000 ms ?
i cant even stream anymore because it is unplayable
can we have a solution anytime soon pleasE ?

Hey Ian.

I can Guarantee you that it is not my internet provider as Youtube, Netflix, League of legends and even porn is working completely fine but when we get to certain boss fights such as LK and RS hc random members in the raid, usually about 3 or 4 of them, will experience this unplayable freezing and lag. We all get the exact same issue in which we have never had before on this game. I get the servers are maybe overloaded right now with this corona pandemic but i think for the people who have put a lot of time and effort into this game and have spent tonnes of money on their accounts/characters are now getting very frustrated with the servers that they have paid for. This could maybe be a quick solution. Stop all people that haven't paid for their instant entry into the game to be allowed in at all and it might release some stress on the servers.

P.s I tried everything you said before and even tried changing the realmlist from .com to .ru and also kicked my Mum off of watching loose women so I could try and help fix the issue. Sadly none of this worked and I'm now having to make my own dinner tonight.

I've experienced this at all times of the day, but only in Dalaran. Could potentially be the high number of people in the same area, but I am un sure. I put in a ticket and will let you guys know once I get a response.

I am also only getting kicked back to my character screen, not a truce D/C.


EDIT: Got a response to my in-game ticket where I asked what could be causing these weird disconnects and was just told that the issue is being worked on and should be sorted out soon.
